Just wondering if anyone has a similar setup. I have a Globalmap 3000MT that I am trying to rig in my truck for ice fishing. I have the antenna situation worked out with velcrow, but I wondering if lowrance makes an cigarette adapter for this unit that I can buy or if I am going to have to make my own and the best way to do that. Thanks

Use this cable and attach a cigarette lighter adapter.

Always need a fuse. Buy an inline fuse holder and put in a 3 amp fuse like come with the units.

I have my LMS332C mounted in my truck all year long. When I rigged mine up Lowrance did not make a cigarette adaptor for it so I went to Radio Shack and bought a plug for about $3.00 and spliced it into the factory power cable. This has worked for the past 3 years (Ihad it on a 330 before). I believe that Lowrance does now make a cigarette adaptor for there units.

Yes, Lowrance has cigarette adapters for sale. You can find them on the internet by using your search engine and typing "Lowrance power cable".

I know at least one of the guys is doing some thing similar using my Devils Lake maps on a laptop in his truck when he goes out ice fishing. Chris says he gets lots of odd looks.

Did you try LEI extras?? They provide all the adapters and all other accessories for Lowrance.

Thanks everyone, what I found is that I could find a premade cigarette adapter online for less that what it would cost to buy a new power cord and build one. Could not find it on the LEI site. finally found what I wanted and it was this:
Cigarette Plug Power Cable CA-4 99-59
So, if someone is in the same situation do a search. I found it for $24.
I guess I should also say that I don't want to take the old power cord out of the boat, which would be the cheapest way. Thanks for the info guys!
