View Full Version : Lowrance School: Any interest in the Omaha, NE general ...

I'm wondering how much interest there might be for a Lowrance School (Doc Samson & Co.) in the Omaha area. There is now a Bass Pro Shops there (on the Iowa side) and Cabelas is coming to Omaha. There's plenty of outstanding eats and watering holes too. Folks could make a weekend of it.
What do you think Doc? Any possibility as a future site?

Maybe next year as we are scheduled Feb 24 in Des Moines and Feb 25 in Kansas City. I hope one of these locations will work for people from Omaha. Doc

Doc, I was thinking next year. I won't be able to hit the DM one but next year in Omaha would work great for me. I am sure you'd have a number of folks interested in that area. The new Cabelas isn't expected to be ready until next fall at the earliest so next winter would be ideal. I was wondering how many folks from WC are from the Omaha area, or nearby?

Was thinking of driving to minneapolis or Chicago for one so i'm sure i could make it to Omaha.
Are there any WC'ers out there willing to make the trip this year
I live in western part of Nebraska so i would be heading east on I-80

The Kansas City school will be posted soon. I am waiting for the contract for the room to sign before I post it. It will be at Kansas University Edwards Campus, Overland, KS Sat Feb 25. The Des Moines school is being finalized for Feb 24. Bill Diedrich has been working on the DM school and I will post it soon. Don't worry about those being filled as we haven't advertised yet. Doc

I will consider a School near Lake Erie next winter. It is a 12 hour drive for me. The closest this year will be Rolling Meadows a suburb of Chicago. Doc

Guys, hope its not too late to bring this up, there is a class the day after tomorrow on Saturday Dec 3 at Minnetonka. I sent Doc some stuff on CD to hand out at that one.

There would be a great deal of interest. I don't think more than a handful would drive to KC or DM but just my opinion. Omaha and Sioux Falls would both be highly successful locations.

I agree. It sounds like Doc has some interest in hitting Omaha next year. Let's hope he can work it in. If so, I'll plan to be there myself. :)
