almost bought some of these baits when i was in grand forks
last month... they had them on for $1.99
i usually stay with name brands so put them back on the shelf
was wondering how they run behind leadcore.....
they are a cheaper alternative to rapalas when in snaggy water
and do have a couple of different colours
you guys having any success with these ?
thanks

I fish alot with rapala JSR and bought a bunch of theses to try they do not run straight and I have had no luck at all with them. I'm sticking with the name brand goods from now on.

I picked up several last spring and used them all summer. They definitely catch fish. Might not be the same quality as a Rapala but for the price, I'm very happy with them. Clown and Perch were my 2 best colors last year. And I will be getting more of them this spring.

Can't speak personally to it, but those I've talked to who bought them expecting them to be the same as the Rapala Jointed Shad Rap have been disappointed. Not the same action and don't dive as deep as the JSR.
Can't say whether they're good or bad, but the the word I get is they're not going to replace your JSR's.

I have used some of each of the Cabela's knock-offs and have had good success with them all. The Rad-shads, jointed rad-shads, and the walleye runners have all produced some good fish for me. I use the rapala depth guide on these also and have found them to run about the same depth wise. As far as the action goes, I have not paid that much attention. I still use a ton of rapala's though but for the price I like the others when I troll or cast around hang-ups. Word has it that Cabela's will come out with a #5 & #7 in the Jointed and have more colors added to the rad-shads.

I've used them. They do catch fish, but all of mine needed tuning
before using. They have a different action than the Raps.
Bought a couple, but I can't keep them in tune. Not very high quality.

I used these lures all last year. I had trouble tuning the image. But if i got it to run right ,it worked well. The rad shads Floters worked as good as the rapala shad rap. THE JOINTED ARE WORTHLESS, SPEND MORE TIME TRING TO TUNE THEM ,THEN HOURS IN THE DAY.
