Can anyone make a suggestion on where to bring an ice house for storage and use during hard water season within a 2 hour drive from the Twin Cites, other than Mile Laces? Size of house is 8X16, looking for pan fish and eater eyes.

I don't know that there are a lot of options out there within 2 hrs of the Twin Cities other than Mille lacs. It is hard for people to justify maintaing roads unless they get the #'s and $'s like they do on a big lake. I have kept a 10 * 20 on Mille lacs for 10 years and am considering selling it to get a nice wheelhouse so I can be more flexible. I like fishing from portables, but it is fun to sleep on the ice too.
