A buddy told me about a hole 4 or 5 years ago, just S. of Starve. 50' TO 60'. It's there. Never really worked it hard like the skinny water in the area. Just wondering how big a secret it really is?

I think that hole is actually more east of Starve than south. Never really fished it. Usually too much boat traffic, but I have wondered if it holds fish in the heat of the summer.

I'll make a call an try to come up with the #'s. Boat is 80 mi. N. of me to check. What I'm talkin about can only be 50 yrd. across, if that.

It's known as the Starve Island Deep, and it is more east. Running across it at any speed, you'd think your depth sounder had a brain fart. down down down, then right back up. It gets full of fish when surface temps get to 80, but mostly cats and carp.

Got the numbers for the center of the hole. I just thought this was cool when I first learned about it. N 41 37.068 W 82 48.976
