Rapala Glow Shadrap

Yesterday I saw these lures at Gander Mountain. They say Gander exclusive on them. I saw 3 colors in 2 sizes. Red glow w/ red back, white glow w/ green back, and white glow w/ blue back in # 5’s and #7’s. All 3 had the black vertical bars like the firetiger. I’m just curios who have used these yet. I thought they would be great for night fishing and dirty water. I bought a couple to try on the Miss. River when the water is muddy. I know I don’t need anymore lures, but these looked like the hot ticket this year.

I had great luck last summer with the Pink/White Gander Edition Shap Rap. I knew the walleye's would like them, but I was shocked how much big trout like them. The Purple/White was also good! I was just at Gander today and didn't see the glow model, but will definately buy a couple when they become available here!

Can't speak for the Gander version, but I custom painted a few Super-glow Pearl Shad Raps for myself last year. Ran them side by side with regular pearl shads. As you'd figure, the glows did better in dirty water, but in cleaner water there wasn't a bit of difference.
