My hat is off to the fishing pro's in the industry, whether it is bass, walleye or whatever. My son and I attend a few fishing shows every winter and I am amazed at how these busy fishing professional's show a genuine kindness and interest in his fishing questions. The kid asks a ton of questions and they are usually good questions and they take the time to answer all of them. Whether is be Gary Roach, Ted Tagasaki (SP) or this past weekend, it was Kevin VanDam. We stayed at the Sheraton Inn on the north side of INDY and when we went out to the parking lot Sunday AM, Kevin was in his boat, going thru his equipment and preparing for Sunday's show. My son recognized him and politely walked over to his boat and asked him a variety of questions about summer large mouth bass fishing and Mr. VanDam continued to go thru his equipment and answered Eric's questions without once getting short or cutting the kid off. I think it is great and especially with my son having this giant interest in fishing---this simply makes this hobbie even better. Again, thanks to the professionals out there for taking the time with the kids!!!
