is there any camping areas to crash at near trenton, mi.? i'll be 357 mi from home so 30-40 mi. for a campsite would be o.k.

Probably Sterling State Park (Monroe)or somewhere in Ontario would be your best bet. Not sure in Ontario but will check around. Sterling State Park is approximately 30 miles to downtown and 20 miles to downriver area (Trenton).

There is also a KOA in the Monroe area, approx 30 miles south of Trenton.
I beleive Sterling state park is closed for renovation, not sure if they started it yet.
