Hey guys,

I've recently purchased some Stinger Scorpions which are not sold with split rings. How do you guys tie to the spoon? Direct tie; tie direct to split ring; snap to spoon; snap to split ring; snap-swivel direct; snap-swivel to split ring???????

Please help.

Thanks,
Bluefin

Most of the charters on Erie use ball bearing snap swivel on both ends of the leader. Not crutial with spoons, but if you may run harnesses also, you might as well tie all the leaders the same.

Got my first Stingers this spring, so I can't talk to them specifically, but I usually add a split ring to any spoon I get that doesn't already have one on the front

Yep!!!,

Small ball bearing swivels, with "Coast or Cross Lock" snaps, are the "Ticket" for this type of app. You've made a good choice with the "Stinger Spoons" !! Use the swivels and go get your limit!!!!

We fish alot for salmon and we always add a split ring to the front of all of our spoons. Did Stinger at any time put a split ring on the front?

Anyway they are a good spoon for walleye and for Steelhead!!
