Trolling Motor Help

I recently got into an older boat, hand me down. It has an older motor guide trolling motor on it. I recently tried fixing it, I got it to work on monetary(?) setting, but I cant get constant to work. Also, it only works on the highest setting which is not very useful. Is there a bad switch, is it something I can fix myself, any help appreciated.

If the motor works...you are in good shape. My guess is you have some drty contacts on the switch...
