The new Renosky FireGlow Lure, are now available through Walleye Central. The New Deep Divers, will be available in about 2 weeks, both the 3 1/2, and the 5 inch will now be available in deep diver lures.

At Dunkirk, NY, I have never seen one lure dominate a body of water like these. I pulled out all the stops, tried all my old Faithful Lake erie lures, and the Renosky's, out produced them 7 to 1. They will now be available in the Deep Divers, so you won't have to use all that leadcore. Just add a Off Shore Snap weight, to get down to that magic depth of 45 ft. The New FireGlow, stays glowing up to 4 hrs. Check it out. Scott Golden's a believer Now!

Tight lines,

Gary Gray.#10

Are these not the Joe's Pirate baits?

Gary:

I ordered a few Renosky baits from their web site 2-3 weeks ago. They still haven't shown up yet. Do you know if they are back logged on production or just slow in shipping? I always get my Bass Pro or Cabela's orders in 2-5 days.

Do they have rattles in them?

Hey Gary are these new deep divers the same blank as the regular renosky??

Gary Gray

No, these are not the same. They are made by the same co., but hsot a FireGlow color line. Also, these are available in Deep Divers.

Hope this helps,
Gary

I talked to Joe, yesterday, and he said they were about to start shipping out the orders. He has a lot of orders for these, but they should be there shortly. You'll like them when you get them, they are worth the wait.

Hope this helps,
Gary

Yes, they have a very loud rattle, and they worked very well for me at Dunkirk,NY. I am looking forward to using the New Deep Diver at Port Clinton, and the New Deep diver 3 1/2 inch on Winnebago.

The 3/12 inch are the same lure blanks, with a New deep Diver bill.

The 5 inch, has a very similar body style, same finish, plus available in the New FireGlo. Dynamic's were changed to make them run true out of the box.

Thanks Gary for the updates on Renosky. Your'e right about their effectiveness on Erie. Some charter guys say they won't leave the dock without them.

I am very interested in the FireGlows. They look like Hog calling piggy puller’s to me.

Sew-Wee!

I seen the shallow runners here on WC.com and they look great.

Do you have a photo handy of the new deep runners that we can take a look at Gary?

Thanks,

Hi Gary, what would you suggest for Erie. 3.5 or 5 inch? Deep diver or the shallow? Now don't say some of each the wife will shoot me.lol How about the best color choices? Thanks for any help. Bob

I don't as of yet, but as soon as I can get my hands on one, I will have Scott post it. They should be photo shot very soon.

For Lake Erie, I would use the 5 inch, both in the shallow, and the Deep diver. You know, that shallow diving baits always have that different lathargic wobble to them, as a Deep diver has that fast tight wobble. 2 different actions.

Colors: Blue Glow
Purple Glow
Perch
Firetiger
Pink Glow
This is where I would start, everyone has their own preffernce in color, or should I say their favorite color. There is a good selection in color for these lures. Not so many, that a guy can't afford to have some of each.

The 3 1/2 inch baits will work better as the weather and water warms up. This will more match the hatch as they say.

Hope this helps,
Gary

I can't wait to get my hands on some of these lures. I too, saw how the Renosky lures outperformed all the other lures at Dunkirk. Now that they have these deep divers, I can only imagine all the possibilities in other waters. I am entering my order today.

Lance.

Gilligan:

No, as you know, I still have hard water here on Winnebago, But, I assure you, that when I get open water, I will do a depth study, and make it available to all. I think you remember the tool that I have for depth study, which is the most accurate tool out there. I will be able to tell where these lures run within inch's, and I will make a chart for all to use. I will send you one by email, when I have the results. Then I will make a post .
I think Joe might even be interested in putting the depths on the package.

I hope this helps all to catch more fish.

Thanks,
Gary Gray

Looks as though the GLO is no longer just the finnish, the actual plastic body GLO's holding its light longer due to more density and luminous improvements, now the crankbait has entered the realm of premiun soft plastics. Are their any ideas out there for a dimmer switch for night fishing. Looking forward to knowing whether I should count to 10, 20 or wait an hour to cast.

Are they really that luminous?

I just talked to Denise at the Factory, and she said Joe was doing the photo's of the lures 1st thing next week. Should be something to look at soon.

Gary.. the biggest regret I have on prefishing with you last year was not paying enough attention and asking ?'s on that tool you use for checking depths. Could you give us a rundown on it?

I just ordered a set of each (small and medium) of the shallow divers. With all the good things I have been hearing, can't wait to use them this season.

Tom:

Just so you know, I talked to Joe today, and he said the 6 pack of lure advertised on WC will be complete in about 2 weeks. Everything is done, except the small deep divers, which Joe said will be in production sometime late next week. They are definatly worth the wait though. You will be glad to have them in your arsenal.

Good Luck,
Gary Gray

Hi,
It sounds like the 3 1/2" deep diver should be in the neigborhood of a Bomber 24a.

Just wanted to chime in. Max depth in ads or on packaging and a little paper insert in package w/curve would be a really good thing.

Gary Gray

As soon as I have open water, I will do a depth study, give it to Joe, and I think he will incorperate it somehow into the packaging. But, I will also, let everyone here at WC know the results, and it will be accurate.

Thanks,
Gary

Gilligan:

Yes, it is the most valuable tool a troller could have. This tool lets you measure depth by pressure, and is accurate to within 6 inchs at 100ft depth. It was built at NASSA, and designed by a guy from Wi. It was sold by Wille Products, but was to costly to produce. If one only new back then, how valuable this tool would be, a guy could have made a fortune. I have shown this tool at seminars, and people are amazed by it. You would have to see it work ony once, and then, you would want one. I used it when I was at Dunkirk last year, and this allowed me to match the depth properly, as you well seen when you fished with me. It is priceless.

Thanks,
Gary GRay
