When will Lowrance make Lakemaster maps available for the x-15 unit?

I used the Lakemaster Mille Lacs and Leech one foot contour maps all winter. I couldn't believe the difference it made in my fishing. I want these maps on my x-15 this summer. Last summer I used the Navionics map on my unit. The map shows me on land when I am fishing near shore. I don't understand why Lowrance isn't jumping all over this. Is there any other unit that has these maps?

I hope soon! Lake Master has the best maps available, extremely accurate. For Lowrance's sake I would hope that someone there is working on it. If not, I am sure another company will. Being a huge fan of Lowrance myself it would be nice if they got it done by May 13. I thought I heard that Lakmemaster was compatible with another unit which one?.

I agree, I'd love to see this happen, maybe a few emails/phone calls to Lowrance might help?

I think it maybe possible to use a palm with GPS capabilities to get what you want.

A pro sponsored by Lowrance introduced me to Lakemaster at the St. Paul Ice Fishing Show. When I called Lowrance to buy a chip they said they didn't know what I was talking about. You would think their pro's would be putting on the pressure to see this on the x-15. Right now I can only send waypoints to and from my Garmin handheld. According to Lakemaster's web site the same can be said for a number of Magellan and Lowrance GPS units. I don't know of any units that actually have the maps on chips.

Currently there is no GPS unit that has the LakeMaster ReelBottom lake contours. LakeMaster is pursuing this because of requests just like yours. A recent E-mail from Lowrance to another customer of ours read " We currently have no plans to incorporate LakeMaster software with our products. Keep posted on our webite for any changes regarding this." This was sent from their customer service department. They also mention to call Navionics at 800-848-5896. the above response was sent from info@lowrance.com. Lowrance customer service number is 1-800-324-1356. We have been tring to incourage our customers to contact Lowrance diectly to let them know there is something better and their customers want it.

Thanks
