I'm wondering if any of you guys(and gals)know of a good and reputable resort to keep a fish house on over the summer. I would like to use it from time to time during the summer as a bunk house. If anyone knows about what the going rate is I would appreciate that information as well. I'm kind of leaning towards someplace on the north and/or west side of the lake, but I really do not mind the boat ride. Thanks in advance.

We have been storing ours at Flagship Resort off of big point, they have about 40 or so houses stored around a loop road with showers and bathrooms in the middle. Real nice setup if they have any room left I would suggest calling them...depends on how much $$ you want to spend. Hope this helps
Try the Mry Mar. Call them at 1-800-892-55393(800-8walleye)

I am trying to find Flagships number for you....I pretty sure for dead storage (unable to use house) its around 400 or 500. But for the "Refuge" where they have bathrooms (showers) and 120v plug ins for each house its around a thousand. My opinion its worth it, the east side doesnt have as much traffic as the west. The resort has buffet breakfast, they do have a bait store but its pretty weak. If you find their phone number let me know. I hope there is still room for you. Good Luck

Morriscode,
I have never been there. I just looked up the number. :)
How often do you go stay in your fish house during the summer?

Jason
We are up there quite a bit, we have a 10 by 20 with bunks. I usually stay away from Mille Lacs early in the year (not due to poor fishing or anything) to avoid the floatilla of boats. We hit Mille up hard in June all the way to hunting season around September. We have the best luck in June of course, but last year was an unbelievable summer for Eyes and Muskies. Its a nice resort....but I know that its absentee owned by someone in Florida...kind of on the downfall in the past few years. Hope to see you up there in June. Good Luck!

The Flagship, the Wharf, and the Refuge are all for sale. Been at the Wharf since 95 and love it. However, the employee moral is low and the place has not been kept up for the last 2 seaseons. I hope someone comes in and rescues this sinking ship soon!

EVERYTHING BADFINGER SAYS IS TRUE. BUT IT IS STILL NOT A BAD PLACE TO BE. I THINK THE FEE IS $700 FOR THE SUMMER(MAY TILL SEPT?) I HAVE BEEN THERE FOR THE LAST 12 YEARS.
