I'm going to be in the market for some high quality jigging rods . I'll admit to being a troller most of my life, but want to really focus on my jigging skills and would like some opinions on what are some great jigging rods .
I know some on this board make custom rods, and am considering having some built, so I'd like a little direction from those more experienced with them .

I have a couple of the Fenwick Techna Av in a 6ft medium action. This is a great rod!! You wont find any that are any lighter of more sensative than this rod. Load it up with 8 lb fireline and your good to go!!

Shikari SHX, Loomis GLX and St. Croix Legend Elite are the most sensitive graphites going.
I've been able to have comparisons between the above models and identically rated models in the Rogue, Avid, GL3 level of graphites and in my opinion, there is no comparison.
That's not to say that a Rogue, Avid or GL3 can't do the job for you. Just that without hesitation I will say that those are the 3 highest end graphites available.
Match the length to your preference. 6' - 6'6" for most jiggers.
Match the power rating to the jigs you toss most. 1, 2 and sometimes 3 power Loomis/Shikari. ML and even M St. Croix.

Mattman built me the most sensitive rod on the face of the earth....well close anyways.
Look at so pics- http://s110.photobucket.com/albums/n109/MoMuskieGuy/
I got this rod from him at the end of June and on my trip to Canada in July I landed close to 300 Walleyes with it. Will be testing it in Canada again in 2 weeks.
I HIGHLY recommend you talking to him.
Sounds like a slow week for a rod so sensitive that you should catch every fish !!!!!
