I have a Pinpoint 7500 Sonar Imaging Display(1998 vintage)and was wondering what the dimentions of the viewable screen are. The manual is silent on this specification. Does anyone out there have the Pinpoint website, phone number or know the height and width of the viewable screen? I understand Pinpoint is no longer affiliated with MotorGuide and again on their own. Thanks for the help!

Spelling correction: should be dimensions, not dimentions.

L (top to bottom) = 3 1/2 "
W (left to right) = 4 5/8 "

That's with it powered off, just looking at the glass size. I'm pretty sure the display fills the screen.

Thanks, the image does fill the screen. My boat is in storage or I would have measured the screen. Need to compute that "Vertical Pixels per Linear Inch" value. Looks like 240/3.5 = 68.57. Rather low, but it gives me great resolution! Thanks again.

I AM THINKING OF BUYING ONE. DO YOU LIKE YOURS AND DOES IT PICK UP THE THERMAL CLINE IN DEEP WATER ? 100 TO 500FT

I can see it easy in shallower water, 30-60'. But I've never looked for it deeper. What fish are 500 feet down?

I very much like the Pinpoint display and the whole system for that matter. The display gives me better resolution than my Bottomline Champion HR. I, also, can see the shallow thermocline, but wonder what botomfeeders you will find at 500 feet other than lawyers? :)

Botomfeeders shoulds be bottom feeders.
