Hey guys, got a fellow Okie headed out New Mexico way the first of next week to fish for eyes. This was posted by him on one of our fishing forums here in Oklahoma, thought I'd try to get him some help from one of the best sources of info in the world, WC!!

Going to fish Ute Lake in New Mexico next week for walleye. Looks like I may have to put up with some weather. This is my first time to fish it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You may want to tell your bud if he is going to camp to make reservations. A lot of the campsites at Ute are reservation only, and if he is going on the holiday weekend finding a spot may be difficult.
