Why is size limited in floating jigs? is it because all they do is float?

I have found the old "Phelp's(sp?) Floaters" to be the best for my purposes. They maintain a hook up position, wiggle a little, and have several hook sizes. Now if I could just find some - any help on this?

Thanks,

I have seen the tiny phelps floaters in bass pro, cabela's, gander mountain. I tend to buy mine from a small private dealer in Utica, IL. Call Cajuns bait and tackle. They have a great selection on hand and will ship to you!

Hope that helps.

Here's another site with floating jig heads. I bought some blades from them, they were great. http://www.steelvalleytackle.com
