Wondering what side you think has the better bite East or West?

Depends on what you had for breakfest, and which way the wind is blowing

Wallywinne...
I have not fished Winnie alot..and when I have it has been in the early fall..(Midwest Get-Togethers)..I have fished the West, North, and East (Thanks to Skindog) and have caught numerous eyes in all areas..key for me was to find cabbage, used mostly bottom bouncers with gold blade. Hopes this helps.

Reno - we were on Winnibigosh, not Winnebago - just so we don't mislead him. I wish we could still put the boats in the water at either. Darn'd ice.

Most of the reef structure is on the west side and the most consistent fishing is found there. That being said, often, the east side has a good bite going as well. Then of course, the middle of the lake can be good when the mud bite kicks off as the water warms.
Take care,

The side you are not on, if I am on the east its the west. But it is usually should have been here yesterday.
