Due to the mild weather and my buck is in the freezer I'd like to give the walleyes a try on the river tomorrow. The river that I will be fishing dumps into the great lakes and the walleyes seem to be at the first dam in February. How about now, are they near the dam already or should I concentrate my efforts nearer to the big lake? Also what techniques should I use? I have never fished for them this time of the year and any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
