Ever wonder why in a given day one bait takes 80% of the fish. Say you have an Eriedescent Reef back 35 feet and it is producing, so you set your other colors at the same distance yet your original lure keeps firing while the others are silent. So you make three baits Eriedescent and the original one keeps firing even if you move it to the middle, inside, or keep it outside. Think it's action of the lure or luck?

I usually find when that happens, they're hitting that side on a turn, even subtle. Usually the inside of the turn. Stalling action is my best weapon when trolling cranks.

There are times when you have a lure that is super tuned in and it just turns the fish wild.

I'll agree. work on the others by tuning/supertuning.
