View Full Version : "Precision Trolling" - Are they all the same?
I've heard different references to different versions of Mark R's book "Precision Trolling."
Is there a version that is comletely up to date or does each version share info that another doesn't?
Thanks,

The newer versions have more dive curves listed as new lures have come out or as they have charted more lures. As far as I know, they have not deleted the dive curves for any lures from previous versions. Also maybe a few updates in the first 30 or so pages which is great reading on different trolling techniques and the effect of speed, weight, line diameter, etc on the depth you can achieve.
I believe the most current version is V 6. You can get that online through WC by clicking on products at the top of this forum. I've seen quite a few tackle shops that still have version 5 on display.

I am new to walleye fishing. Have fished LOW several times and hoping to start catching walleyes in some of my native Arkansas Lakes. Hope this is a good book. I researched it and it looks like a must have. Just completed my order form and waiting for it to arrive.

It is a must have. If you ran a poll, you would find that almost every walleye boat that trolls has one (or two)
Enjoy,
