Ok. All the posts about how great Fireline is for jigging has made me want to give it a try.
My question-What is the preferred knot to tie the Fireline to the jig? Doe anyone use a snap swivel or does everyone tie directly to the jig?
Thanks in advance.

Palomar knot directly to the jig.

Polomer knot is the best because it does not slip.

I use a leader of about 2 ft. tie it to the fireline and then to the jig. In case of a snag or something like that the mono will break, where as the fireline may not. Tie the leader to the fireline with a uniknot. You will get more on this from the others, I just started using the super lines last year and haven't mastered it just yet.

Palomar for line to jig and Uni to Uni for line to line. These work the best out of anything I have tried.
