From reading months of posts on Cabela's rainwear, GuideWear is best but its pretty much out of my budget. I fish 25 - 30 days a year (if i'm lucky) and it seems to rain about 20 of them. I've had a $20 PVC suit for almost 10 years and it keeps me fairly dry but the inside seems to get damp after lonf periods of heavy rain, plus its wearing out. One thing I do like about it is that I can scrunch it into a small grocery bag and keep it in my boat and don't have to worry about theft. Does anyone have any of cabela's other stuff such as the Rainy River, Signature series (Drylock instead of goretex), or there lesser lines? Is any decent goretex $80 - $100 jacket with similiar priced pants suit gonna keep me dry?

A friend of mine has the Rainy River set and really likes it. It is lighter weight than the Guidewear, so may be more comfortable on warm days. He has punished it pretty hard, even worn it hunting, and it has dtood up very well.
