For those considering spending some time on Vermilion...Creel surveys are conducted on Lake Vermilion as part of the Large Lake Program. Creel surveying is a method of estimating angling pressure and harvest by interviewing anglers and taking boat counts. Lake V is scheduled for a creel survey two consecutive years out of every six. The next creel surveys are scheduled for 2002 and 2003!!!

Is the new lake survey data available for Lake Vermilion yet? This, as I understand it, is done annually...anyone know?
