Has anyone else use a Leech Tamer yet? I did for the first time last weekend. What a great idea. I just threw the bag in my livewell and never had to mess with little plastic covers blowing away or tipping over and scummy leeches.
Another great job from JNB Originals.

Howdy, Grandpa Joe!

I picked up one of the Leech Tamers a couple weekends ago while I was working the Gander Mtn Fish Fest for the Walleye Alliance. I tried it out for the first time yesterday on Mille Lacs, and like you, thought it was great!

First the Wave Tamer, now this!

I'll be using mine for the first time tomorrow. I'm sure I'll see Joe Beech out there so I can tell him how great it is. I have the bouncer tamer and it has been great.

I can't make it until late tomorrow, but I'll see you there Zach.

I've had mine for over a year and I guard it closely when I see other guys in my boat eyeing it a little to eagerly. It is one of those "so simple, why did't I think of it" products that work slick, ya know?

Capra's, carries them I believe. Otherwise, check with Gander Mountain and/or Thorne Brothers.

Well I guess I'll have to be the one to not like it. I like my leeches kept in a cooler so they don't wiggle like mad when I try to hook em.

Joe,
I was at Capra's today and saw one.
Before I pick one up, I was wondering how much one will hold. Can you put a 1/4 lb of leeches in one without any problems for the leeches?

Thanks in advance.

Hey Rew,
Nice to hear from you.
A 1/4# is no problem. I have two Tamers and I split up a pound between two of them without a hitch.

They will hold a pound of leaches with no problem. Greatest tool ever for holding leaches. On cloudy or cooler days I just keep the bag in a damp towel and leave it out. It is amazing how well these things work. Kept leaches all week at last PWT and they are still going strong.

I check Gander Mountain for the Leech Tamer, no luck. They have the Wave Tamer, but no other Tamer stuff, anywhere else to get them in the north metro area? The Wave Tamer is great.

Capra's. I also believe that Joe's Sporting Goods carries them as well.

The leech tamer is best way to keep leeches active and ready to go that I have found. Kept leeches alive all last summer and expect to be able to do the same this summer. Another great product from JNB!!!

I used JNB Originals' Leech Tamer at the PWT in Pierre May 10-12 with 1 pound of leeches in it. I forgot the leeches in the bag in my bait well until (May 20),the leeches were very active and healthy, with no dead ones. There was only about 1/2" of water on the bottom of the well, but the leeches were fine.I was surprised they were alive, because when I seen the bag in the bait well, I was prepared for a big mess! These Leech Tamers really work better than I was told they would!
