Question for those who use Extreme baicasters.

I don't have alot of expierence with baitcasters. I have an old Garcia 5500 I have used off and on. I bought a used Extreme and have no owners manual. I bought this reel due to the fact it has a flippin switch. I am used to the buttons and knobs on the right hand side of the reel. Can you tell me how to use the dial on the left side that is numbered Zero thru ten. And also, what does the push button brass bass pro shop button do. Any other do's and don'ts with this reel would be greatly appreciated.

Most low profile baitcasters have some type of magnetic brake to reduce(not eliminate)backlash. That is most likely what the dial on the left side is. Can't help you on the brass push button.
