View Full Version : Top bead/blade combo's for Erie harnesses

I know that many folks say when trolling cranks that color is last. Depth and speed usually come before color. Is this true for harnesses as well? Is bead color as important as blade color? If you could only run say 3 or 4 color combo's, what would your top pics be? Also, single blade or double?

Anything with purple will work good. Purple beads and blades have taken many a walleye for me. Also blue and silver combo in clean deep water.

Don't troll them much Mike but casting I would not be without hammered gold or dark green (I call it John Deere green) in a Colorado style.
Gold almost always seems to produce but there are days when green rules!!! Yeah, I know, color isn't that important but don't tell the fish LOL
