I thought since someone brought up the NEW thread of rivets/welding earlier on the board today, I thought of another NEW topic to debate. What's better Aluminum boats or Glass boats? I say Alumiglass or Glassinum, with a half glass hull, half aluminum hull. The half aluminum hull side could consist of half welded and half rivetted, then maybe everyone would be happy. But then the Glass side would be faster than the aluminum side ! Then what? But how could I fit that in with the boat dock security thing? Also, though since I determined earlier that rivetted aluminum boats are actually airplanes that float which sonar units are the best to put on it? And what about an outboard, which brand is the best? Should I get a tiller or console boat? But is it possible to have a tiller steer on an airplane I mean boat, I mean airplane, I mean boat........? This is making me crazy! Decisions.......Decisions.....What should I do? Aluminum or Glass? Rivets or Welded? I've gone MAD!!!!!!!

I'd go with the riveted glass...so many holes so little putty...Epoxy is king but then the carpet goes fuzzy side up...Why are DOWNriggers always mounted pointing up? And why don't they call it catching instead of fishing? How come gas is really a liquid?

I need another vicodin...

Now there is a thought. How about a titanium boat? It would be perfect, have the qualities of aluminum and the flex and smooth ride of glass. It would probably be pricey though.
