what is handlining? Is it trolling with pole in hand???

Although I have learned much more about handlining since I wrote this little tid-bit (the link above), this will give you an idea of what handlining is.
The boys in the PWT have modified a version of it using fishing rods, since it is not allowed to be used in their tournaments the traditional way. I believe this months Walleye Insider or In-Fishrman Magazine has an article on the pole version. I haven't read it yet, so I'm not sure which mag it's in.
The Jan. 2000 issue of Walleye Insider had a 6 page article on it, and the May or June 2001 issue of North American Fishing Club Mag. had a good sized article on it too.
