I have a C-Map cart. for the Green Bay/Door County area that I used to use with a Global Map 2000. What new units will this cart. work with? Thanks
Spongebob
My BottomLine NCC5300 uses the C-Map NT cards. The BottomLine NCC6500 uses these as well.

Spongebob,
There are two different kinds of C-map Carts, but you can go to http://www.c-map.com and they have a listing of the manufacturers that use C-map carts.
If it is a C-map NT cart, I would look at the Standard Horizon GPS units. These are great units at a very good price.

Raytheon has some good units that take C-maps.

Lowrance's Globalmap 3000 and X-15 now use MMC cards. These are similar to c-maps. They can do a lot more. Most people get MMC Navionics chips with Hotspot maps on them. You can use them and record all your data that you enter at the same time. Or you can simply detail a map of your own on your computer and download it to the card through the card reader that comes with the unit. I'm not sure what to do with your old c-map. maybe sell it here. A lot of people have and still use a Global map 2000.

I just bought a "620" that has a Global Map 2000. Does anyone have a Lake Erie cartridge they would sell ? I'm also looking for a boarding ladder for a Ranger 620. Does Lowrance still repair these Global Maps??
