I just got my renewal notice for my trailer tabs, a 1990 shorelander 1500# base, and the cost is 29.00 Does this sound right? I don't remember it being that much for one year.

I also just renewed mine for $29.00. I assume you are in MN. If you look at the remewal notice, this is for a "permanant" license. It says all trailers rated for #3000 lbs & lower, by 2003 are to have this permanant license. one time fee, then good "for-ever". If you sell the trailer, license goes with it.

Read it over careful I think if ya want to pay the 14$ fee for another year it is your choice but you will have to do it at the next time for 29$ so save the short renewal fee and do it now.
Can anyone tell me what color the permanent license for there boat trailer is? I have been cheating and used my utility trailer plate for the boat and just wanted to know if thats over cause it is a dfferent color tab.
