I have a lowrance x-75. I fish in water 30 feet or less. I would like to upgrade to a fish finder that marks fish better. I am considering a LMS-350 which has more power. Is this going to help a lot or will there not be much difference in the depths I fish? I have also heard from some that the genetron is the best and I have heard from others that the genetron is not much better than the LMS-350. Can someone shed some light on this and help me out!

The X75 is a good graph, and in 30' of water you probably wouldn't use the added power of the 350A. There have been a lot of great posts recently regarding Lowrance graphs and power, so read through past posting for more specifics. Also, adjusting sensitivity and grayline are two ways to improve fish-marking abilities. Set grayline to 31% and increase sensitivity until the screen blackens, then back off until clutter disappears. Also, check the transducer.

The X75 is a good graph. Make sure you're maximizing its capabilities before upgrading. Good luck.
