Lowrance LCX-19C & Navionics

I can't get my unit to pull up this info. I find the Navionics chip and select it but nothing happens? Any ideas???

Try pulling out the tray the replacing it.

the older lowrance units ( i have 3 of them ) are very selective on which navionics they will read. it can be a problem.

Hi,

I would make sure you have the latest version of software available. You can check out the free updates from Lowrance at
http://www.lowrance.com/Downloads/Updates/default.asp

You can select the Navioncs Map by depressing the Menu button then go to "Map Data". Move over to "Navionics Map Choice" and select the Map you need.

You can download the LCX-19C Emulator from Lowrance to play with the settings at home before you get out on the water.

How can you tell if you have a bad unit? I have updated my software with still no success. Is there anywhere to take or send the unit and have them look at it?

Which version of Navionics are you trying to run? Some of the older units won't run the newer versions of Hot Maps. To see if your unit and map are compatable go to www.navionics.com and click on plotters for a chart of which units are compatible.
