Slap Spoons

I have used slap spoons several times and have not had any luck. My question is what is the best ways to fish slap spoons. In the fall, spring and summer times. Thanks

I tend to use slabs when fishing deeper water in the summer and fall.I suppose anytime you have fish deep they are worth

Oooohhhh, slab, not slap? Well, slap me silly then, I've got bunches of those. Wasn't sure if he meant slab like you're saying or the technique of slapping your rod tip down to let your jigging spoon drop on a slack line. Love slabbing (but not slapping????).
