Good enough reason for me to stay on the little ponds - you guys can have those rivers!
Hey Juls - thanxs for the note - no problem - might be bummin a boat ride this summer, I may soon be a shore fisherman. In the middle of the boat buying plans a small farm came up for sale - needless to say boat and land can't both happen. Worst part is my boat is already sold!
I've been watching this property for years had to do it. Things have been crazy around here for the past week - I feel for what you must be going thru down there!

I've seen a lot of "oops" pics through the years but,
that is the best and almost unbelievable sequence I've seen.
Rumour has it that Bob Propst was doing that long before it became popular. Soon it will be a regular event in the olympics.

Had a very similar experience on the river last year after hookin' up with a really big eye, really big....never did recover the cook, had to fry 'em up myself! :) Sorry, no pics.

One never was surprised when it came to old Bob. The stories are endless and will always be precious memories. And of course, you would hurt from the laughs for a long time. Bob Probst is one of BIGGEST keys to what tournament fishermen are experiencing today. I just wish the fishing industry wouldn't have forced him out. I would do anything to have Bob back on the circuit. He, of all people, should have a place in the new RCL world. He would be a huge asset. And believe me, he can still compete. And win.
Somebody bring Bob back! Bob...thanks for being you.

I was under the impression that Juls was driving a RANGER this year. This must be her new regular Day job.

Do you think they brought a change of underwear or did the water from the river wash them out?

Hmm, I just had another thought, this should stir the masses! Good thing it is a tin boat and not a fiberglass boat!! There must be Lund sticker somewhere?? There not the fastest but sure are tough!

Thats how Bob cleaned the deck of his tournament pontoon boats!!LOL
Hey Mark,
Ya know, Bob Probst is most likely the only one who could have pulled something like that off.lol lol But he never cleaned the pontoon!
In the '88 MWC championship at Dubuque on the big river, Hilgenberg and I were in second comin' into the last day. We hadn't been to our best fish yet, because they were one pool up, and we didn't want to lock through, if we could stay close, in the home pool. But the last day Wally says " we didn't come here for second place". So I ask, "what happens if we get caught in the end with a barge in the lock?" He says, "we jump the dam". I say "okay" and we go fishin'.
Of course , we never had a shot at that scenario since we blew the engine on the way up first thing in the morning. The tech crew forgot to put oil in our engine. We had arranged for tv camera's to monitor the dam in late afternoon. Now that would have taken some boat control! (and a thousand dollar fine to boot)lol
See ya out there Mike!
Thanks for the help with the NPAA kids clinic this winter.

Never mind, it just doesn't work with Netscape. I'll bet there were some shorts that needed cleaning after that one!

One day I can see in on Netscape and the next day I can't. I went to Explorer and did open it. Some of you compute people why is that? I don't understand.
