Looking through Cabelas. Panther makes a remote steering unit for a kicker motor. Do they also make a lift for a kicker? I am considering a lift and maybe a remote steering unit. Any feedback on the use of these together and are they good! Thanks

If you keep looking in Cabela's they have the Panther auxiliary motor lift in there. It is rated up to 40hp or 150#. The Panther lift and the remote steer work very well together. There have been post on both products here in WC and they have gotten really good remarks.

Thanks Madmax. I have the new cabelas and I can't find the panther aux lift anywhere. I see the garelick and the Cabelas(CMC) but no panther. Can you help again? Thanks

Milfish,
It's on page 157, in the upper right hand corner of the new Cabelas Spring catalogue. I see it is now marketed under Cabela's own name, but rest assured, that is a Panther model 35 power tilt and trim.

I don't know if the Cabela's power tilt and trim is made by panther or not. The one I am talking about is in the tackle shop 2002 catalogue on page 161. You also get a free pro-strap to go with it. I hope this helps.

For quick answers on this issue, go to the Cabelas website and click on the live chat help link. They have been quick to answer all my questions there.

Milfish... I don't know what kind of boat that you are putting it on but I do know that panther makes different lifts for different boats. I know for Ranger they have a special lift. It might be worth while checking in to. You might try search and see if you can come up with a web site that will help you more. Good Luck!

I'm pretty sure that the CMC is not the Panther lift. There's a Panther rep here somewhere that should be able to point you in the right direction.

Milfish,

Once again I spoke without thinking! You are right, that is a CMC lift and not a Panther. Sorry! I had been thinking of the Panther EZ-Steer. I owe it to you to find it in the catalogue somewhere now.
