I was up in South Dakota last year at chamberlain fishing. The same time as I think it was Western Walleyewas having a team tournament. All the fish the teams brought in had tags hanging from there mouth.
How do the teams tag there fish and why? Stop culling?
The tags are used on most team tourney's in the midwest that I know of. This lessens the chance of cheating . Say you have to make up your mind weather to throw back a 21 in fish or keep it. You decide to keep it. You then take the tag and put it on the fish. Then put it in your live well. If you get caught with a fish in the live well without a tag,your team is` disqualified . If your team come in and weights fish without tags in there mouth ,your disqualified.
