ocean fishing gear

Hello: I'm planning to go to Florida ocean fishing with friends. I don't know anything about ocean gear or what I might need. Were supposed to go wreck fishing and was thinking of looking on e-bay for some used equipment because I don't know if I will do it again and didn't want to spend alot. Looking for info on rods, reels,line, and tackle. I was told to get a 50 size rig. I hope thats not how much it weighs. Thanks Landlocked

You can likely rent whatever gear you might need once you get to Florida - or buy it there. Probably spend less and get the right stuff if you get it locally.
