Hi, I am heading to the Chippewa flowage area the second week of June and staying at treeland resort on muskie bay. Any advice on what lakes to focus on during this time period. I am not looking for specific spots, just a heads up on what to look for. Thanks.

The bay by dun rovin & east of popple Island
http://www.chippewaflowage.com/map.html
They ahve a boat load of downed timber.
Look out for Lower unit rock? I think that's what they call it, on the way over.
The west shore by Wagles nest island, too
Big lake, many places to fish, tough to fish, too

Get over to Lac Courte Oreilles (Phonetically - Lake Couderay) It's only a short distance from the Chip, and you'll be amply rewarded for your effort.

Triton,
Because there is no motor trolling allowed on the flowage you either want to pitch 1/8 oz jigs tipped with mud minnows (go to Jenks for these) into the weeds in 8-12 FOW or throw lipless cranks. There are nice weed flats all around Popple island in Hay Lake. The submerged "boomerang" shaped hump between Popple and Eagles Nest holds many fish.
Try casting lipless cranks along weed edges.
I've also done well on the North side of Eagles Nest near the campsite. There is a small weed bed that holds walleyes there. Leeches on a single orange gamakatsu under a slib bobber is deadly there and anywhere on the flowage as long as you are on a weed edge.
If the walleyes aren't cooperating, the bluegills should be during that time period. Try up close to shore in Minnesota bay (West side of the flowage) with slipbobbers and small crawler tipped jigs like cubbies in orange or blue.
Believe it or not I have caught walleyes on Mepps #3 or #4 black Fury on Tyner Lake. Caught a ton of hammerhandles too.
Musky bay gets fished pretty hard because it is close to Treeland's. get a good map and explore. Getting away from the crowd is preferred (by me anyway).
Good luck. The Chip is a beautiful lake but can be tough to fish.

I second Lac Courte Oreilles.
Nice lake. theres a 85 foot deep drop off by the camp ground in the middle of the lake. Great smallmouth
I also second the Popple & Eagles Nest Islands area.
I forgot the Hey Lke names. He was right on the spots.
My memory fades with age.
I also hear Grindstone is nice. No luck on my part there.

Grindstone produces smallies as well. One trip in the fall was a 50 fish day for me. No real size - but fun for sure.
