Ronn,
Never fished Reel Foot Lake but have been down there duck hunting in December. We stayed at the Blue Banks Resort they have a nice set up the only bummer is you have to drive a couple mile down the road to their restraunt but it is not that bad. We always said that it looked like a great crappie lake just never made it down to fish. They have cabins and a hotel, one of the rooms in the hotel is like a mini apartment and I woul try and get that if you can. If I remember it is the first floor room on the right if you are looking at the hotel.

Wife and I stayed there last April. We were in the building on the left 2nd level beautiful room. They treat you well there and are very friendly. Thursday nite was the BBQ for all stayers and you didn't walk away hungry. Bring a club with you to fend off the snakes. They like to sun themselves in the trees and could drop into your boat. They (resort) don't like 45 holes in the bottom of their boats. The crappie fishing was great and they were good size fish. All in all you should have a great time. Light tackle fighting was a riot.
