In regards to Dean's message about the Lake Traverse tournament I would like to clarify a few statments made:
1. He stated 10-12 fish over 8lbs., there were only 2 fish over 8lbs.
2. He also stated that he hated to see people "put a knife" to 7lbs fish. The only 7lbs fish was a 7.2 lbs fish and it WAS released.
3. There were 80, two-man teams fishing the tournament and there were 134 walleys caught and about 80% of these fish were released.
I am the president of the Walleye Masters of Lake Traverse, and the other members and I supervised and record the results of this tournament. We are proud of how our tournament is run and managed. Therefore wanted to report the results of this tournament.
