Fished the flowage today with my grandson. The limit is three walleye with a minimum length of 15 inches. We did enjoy a great time catching and releasing some 19 walleyes that were just under the minimum.....but had only one keeper just over.
An individual at the launch area suggested this was a common occurence at this flowage.Anyone out there familiar with this flowage..... and have further input??

We go up there for a week every year. YUP. Average size walleye there is 14.5"!! Good lake for numbers, so-so for size. In over 8 years, with 3 boats working 8+ hours a day each, I think we have had 2 fish come in over 20". The kids sure do love the action though.

Two Skeeter,

Your info is appreciated as I've been searching for good walleye Lake locations around the Webb Lake area. I'm retired & new to Wisconsin (lived on Leech for 18 yrs).

Was my first venture onto Minong flowage and I'm not sure where Swimmers Island is located.Could it be the very small Island (mostly all sand)probably a mile north of Park...Camp grounds ..& launch site????

Thanks again!!
