What scent is in the tub? Is it one of the sprays, garlic, craw, or crawler?

I don't know- but it isn't a pleasent scent to put on for a date. Or your wife....ah MAYBE? I use that Gulp stuff and can't keep the Bass off my jig here on Erie. Smelling the goop, it doesn't resemble anything I've ever smelled.

I do not know either but here is my take after a week long of experimenting.
The Gulp Alive really works. I used the 4" minnows in Chartreuse Shad and Emerald Shiner. They caught just as many or more walleyes as live bait. I was very impressed.
The Gulp alive is durable and reusable as claimed. Make sure you take them off your hooks so they do not dry out.
The scent in the tub is also sticky to the hands when dried. It did not bother me but bothered others.
Bought some of the garlic spray gulp alive for smallies. We were surprise that it did not smell heavy in garlic like other sprays we have used. Not saying it was bad, but different than others. Unsure of it's effectiveness so far. We used it as a confidence booster when fishing slowed and we wanted to get our scent off of lures/baits.
Bought the jumbo leeches and wished I would have bought the smaller version for jig fishing. They appeared too big for this time of year. I'm curious if anyone has used them on crawler harnesses yet? They appear large enough and could work well.

I've done well with the 5" Leechs tipping jigs and on single hook spinner rigs. Should work well on any harness. C-man

finally after many trials of all the gulp products, got 2 walleye on erie. this was with the 5 in leech using a harness.. the nitecrawler 4inch never got touched. the rest of the 12 fish limit came on real crawlers. the gulp were the first 2 fish and the largest of the day but after that the leech like the crawler never got touched.
and i do agree, that stuff smells and is sticky.

I got the 5" leeches, too. They seem to have much better action than the standard Gulp 4" leeches. I've had to use 2-hook spinner rigs- too many short hits on single hook rigs that tear the 5" leech off the hook. Not a problem with 2-hook rigs.
The solution in the tub is not the same as the spray.
Couple of things:
The Gulp Alive products are color fast. They will not bleed or run. This means you can combine all your favorite colors into one bucket.
The juice is very sticky. You can use a pliers to pick out your bait and shake it off before touching it.
Remember that this is still an artificial lure. You have to make it come alive. If you don't, it wont work sitting still.

I have had good success with the Crawler spray. I dose my bulk plastics with it inside the bags and let them soak it up. I have not tried all the flavors yet, but so far the Crawler appears to work.
I did try the Garlic on catfish...they were not amused.
Fussy kittys? Maybe? ;)

What flavor are you using for the bass if you don't mind me asking?
Thanks

Rebs - I'm bettin' that the GULP! Gobys (I've only seen them in bags) fished on a drop-shot rig or tipped on jig, will SLAY the Smallies. C-man
