Admittedly I was skeptical when the Frabill Leech bedding came out. Yet for the past 2 seasons I have been using it and recommending it to friends and clients with no negative feedback on it, just positive.

The big hassle of smelly water and changing the water 3 times a week is a thing of the past when using the Frabill bedding. What amazes me most is how much they beef-up in the bedding, get healthier and larger. Just one of the blue box's will do 4 lbs of leech's easy. And you can reuse the stuff over, and over, as long as you do not skunk it with dead bait by overheating it.

Get this, I forgot a half pound of larges in a container way back in my fridge......for well over a month. It was in a recycled cottage cheese tub so it was camouflaged with all my other junk. So, when I did discover it I thought....man..this is going to be bad. But heck no, they were fat as ticks and ready to go. No smell, no dead loss, healthy and happy leeches. That sold me right there!

My experience have been good, has it preformed as well for other here on WC.com?

Bought leeches before memorial day and they have lasted a month and one half in the bedding til I used them all.

Also was skeptical..............but it works...no fuss!

Do you just add as much as the package recommends or do you tend to add a bit more?

I fallow the Frabill mix ratio directions pretty closely. If anything, I add a bit more water than recommended. You do not need to turn it into runny oatmeal, just good and damp.
