Scheels makes a great 7'6" slip bobber rod. Nice action, and a good amount of back boine for rock solid hooksets. I give the rod quite a work out here on Devils Lake.

A good reel for the rod is a Garcia 502. It hold lots of line, has a good drag, and won't break the bank.

The combo balances nicely too.
