Appears the upper pennisula of Michigan may have a mandatory restriction for the harvest of buck whitetails, to 3 points on one antler, over the next 5 years of hunting.
It needs 66% support in surveys sent in December to be implemented.

Would think it is rather hard to enforce, as one does not have to register deer in this state. Also, this rule will restrict any buck hunting in areas where there is poor (buck) numbers. Other than these points, would be wild to think how many larger bucks would be chasing does during the hunt!
