View Full Version : Archery release recommendations
My old release has finally broke. I would like a new one which I can use with gloves which has a swiveling head. I know there are many on the market, anyone have a recommendation?

T.R.U. Excellent quality and selection.
I see that some of the TRU releases are called a ball release. Does this mean I need to install a ball on my string. IF so I am assuming that I would have to actually look at the string each time I attach my release. Do you find this distracting in a hunting situation when you are trying to watch the deer and time when you can move? As for the Scotty release, why did you recommend it? Ease of use? trigger adjustment??

The ball style will clip onto the ball and stay
there until you pull the trigger.
I use the 3D thumb-pull caliper, and clip
it onto a string loop. It hangs on the loop
until I hit the trigger.
