I have a question:

I have a new Colt .44 Magnum ANACONDA. When I fire it in the "double action" mode, it fires perfectly fine - one round after the other!

If I fire it in the "single action" mode (pulling the trigger back with my thumb) it mis-fires ! It dimples the primer but not enough to fire the round. Flip to "double action" and it fires the same shells - no problem, cylinder after cylinder, load after load! Is this a real problem with the Colts' or What?? I don't know why and need your collective help!

yes that's a real problem, but usually in the reverse of your problem. the reason is; the hammer doesn't go back as far in double action mode. with less travel and spring pressure there isn't enough force to fire the primmer. have you had a triger job done since your purchase. did the gun come with a test target?

when we lose the 2nd. amendment the others will be history too!

Jake,

Got fed up with it and had the dealer return it to the factory and it works perfectly now. Asked what it was and they said "an adjustment was needed" - hhmph!!
