Watched a big 7 point bull this morning ...bugling up a storm.
Never get tired of watching and listening to that.....cool!
They are starting to get the urge, guys.
Montana -zone #380- is where I was watching this. (Where I live).

Wish I was hunting them this year. This seems a little early though. Is this about the time they normally start bugling in your area. Here is SD they generally won't start for a couple more weeks yet. I struck out on all draws this year except antelope.

Hi Guys: The Elk are buglin in Saskatchewan too. I know our elk aren't as big as those Colorado Bulls but check out the one I shot on Sept 9 this year. Its in my photo album.

Right here... they almost always start the 1st or second week of Sept. We are higher elevation and further north than you guys... so I suppose it starts getting cooler sooner. It is about 5000' elevation at my house.

Thanks
He's a 6x6 and the gun is a Steyr Mannlicher 300 Win. Mag. Shoots really well which helps to compensate for some of my errors.
