I wouls check out Camp Manitou, they are just getting started over the last couple of years, but are very eager to please and there is very little hunting pressure in the area they hunt. It really has some excellent potential for monster bucks and they seem to have knowledgeable guides. Typically the deer are of the same caliber as Manitoba and you get a better bang for your buck in Ontario. Give Matt a call and if you have any more in depth questionsask him to give you his head guides phone # and he can really fill you in on the area and deer. Good luck.

Those are some great rates have you gone there. If so were you successful.

I had some friends go there and they have been 100% last 2 years. They said the guide says that is usually not 100%, but usually 50 - 75%. I think I may go with them this next season though.

I am starting a trophy deer hunting club near Dryden ON. we are only hunting trophy bucks only. We have 1000ac. private land to hunt. this is for serious trophy hunters only. If you need more info email me at fivelakeslodge@tbaytel. This is not a commercail outfitter it is a private club only.

I have been going to Happy Landing Lodge with my dad and uncles for the past 5 years now, its by far the best resort we have ever been to. Last year Matt (the owner) talked my dad and one of my uncles to try Camp Manitou (he owns both) for its deer hunts. They had a great time they both shot nice bucks. My uncle is on their website in the hunting section on the left and my dad is in the boat on the right. They were there in early nov. They couldn't belive the guides, the vast amout of untapped area that they hunted, and the amount of nice bucks they saw. They said they are deffinatly going back some day. I am only 13 but I would like to get to go on the next hunt. You can see my dad at www.campmanitoufishing.net

There are so many outfitters now that it is really hard to pick one, remember to ask for referances. I don't know much about Ontario, Manitoba has some great bucks but you should also check out Saskatchewan and Alberta. These three Provinces hold the largest Whitetails in the world. Trust me I missed one the night before last........I'm going to go and pout now.
